We took the RV in to get the electric hot water heater fixed. It was supposed to be two day event that turned into a four night mess.
We had a great trip home and arrived before our grandson's christening.
Our first night was spent at the Cactus RV Park.
This place was easy to get to and the owners were really nice. It's not a fancy place just nice and there is a lot of history in the old hotel.
Our next stay was at the Amarillo RV Ranch. This campground was another one we would visit again. Even though I had made dinner in the crock pot we couldn't resist a trip to the Big Texan for dinner. They pick you up and take you to the restaurant. The food and service were great!
And this is where you set to eat it!
We stayed at an Army Corps park called Heyburn Lake. This was our first Army Corps park and it was beautiful.
It was a beautiful trip home. We are now at Holiday Shores in Durnad and looking forward to getting in a few hands of cards with the Blue Water RV'ers.
Hope everyone is warm and dry!
