August 17, 2014 Ember Arrives

Ember arrived August 17th

8 pounds

20 inches long

She took 8 hours to arrive from water break to final push.

I can't wait to get my hands on her.

Yes I have pictures of Athena and Ember, but if I post them Athena will

kill me.

And you can believe there will be more pictures when I get home!!

 

August 12, 2014 Glacier National Park

 

So our last big stop was Glacier National Park

My dad said to take the Red Bus so we could see everything.

Dad was right.  That was some wild road.

And that concludes our whole Alaska adventure.

Now we are moving quickly to get back to Michigan.

August 10, 2014 Banff, B.C.

The drive to Banff was beautiful.

The northern end of the Rockies, you can't beat it.

 

WOW what a tourist trap.  I think all the people came here to shop.  They must not have store where they are from.  Over Load for us.

But I did like the pizza sign.

 

We did get lost trying to find a place to park and found this beautiful water fall.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

                                           We spent the next day at Lake Louise. Thanks Fred and Leslie for the heads up.

We tried to make it the 2 hours straight up the hill to the tea house

but failed 45 minutes into it.

August 8, 2014 Jasper, B.C.

We are making our way back to Michigan.

We stopped by Jasper, B.C. and had a great time. 

A BIG thank you goes out to Dave & Bobbie for the lead on Jasper Adventures.  We had a great time. 

 

Not a bad show from the animal world. 

The tour was wonderful.

 

Now off to Banff, B.C.
