It has been so long since my last post that I had to log back in to the blog page.
We arrived in Michigan with the rig on June 15th and we will head to Florida
on October 12th.
Bill is still on chemo and as of the last CT scan the cancer on his pancreas has not grown. He is also in the top 40% of people who tolerate the chemo. Thanks to lots of prayers and a man with a strong constitution, he has not been sick at all. He was scheduled for three rounds of chemo a week but he has averaged two. They wont do chemo if his platelets are below 100.
We have also been busy with PT and OT appointments. The VA is doing all they can to manage the nephropathy in his hands and feet. He is really working hard.
We decided to take a trip to ludington and catch up with our camping group. We opted to stay at The Ludington Inn a bed and breakfast. The food and hospitably were wonderful. The house is currently for sale due to the ailing health of the owners.
