New Orleans

Some random pictures from New Orleans.  We started the morning with breakfast and beignets at Cafe Beignet.

A van on Bourbon Street.

This was the floor of a shop on Canal Street.

I love the old buildings.                                                                     Then off to St.Louis Cemetery #1

This is where they say Nicholas Cage.  Some say it is a prop for his next movie.

This is St. Louis Cathedrial.  There was so much history here.

This is the Navy band on some local color dancing to the music!

                                         Views from the French Market

Loved the roof on this place

We also went to the WWII Museum.  The brick is in memory of my step-mom's dad.  He was a WWII Vet.  We also got to shake the hand of a WWII vet who was visiting the museum.  Very special day.  We also stopped by the restaurant there The American Sector.  It was a fun place with good food

Well that is the end of our trip to New Orleans.  Tonight we are staying in Boumont,TX at the Gulf Coast RV Resort.  This is a very nice place and they have a conteniental breakfast in the morning!!

Stay warm - we are almost to Arizona!!

Two New Campgrounds

We stayed at two really nice campgrounds on our latest travels.

The first one was Ochlockonee River State Park.
The wild life was WILD!  We almost got ran over by three deer who got spooked by a car.

We also stayed at Topsail State Park.  This park was close to Dustin and ALOT of shopping.
We did a 7 mile bike ride but still didn't find the bike path and we were not going to ride with the traffic on 98.

We are on the move again!

Tonight we are is a campground in Sopchoppy, Florida.  The campground is called Ochlockonee River State Park.

We went for a walk to check things out and almost got ran over by three deer.  I didn't get any photos because they were moving pretty fast.

These are random things I wanted to post!

Welcome to the family Maura Elizabeth!
This is my great-niece.  She was an early bird.
She is doing great for being so early.
She is so precious and we are praying she
can come home soon!!

Mary and Barc took us to a few restaurants before we left.
This is the salad I had at Bob Heilmans Beachcomber.  It was as good as it looks!

This is the back of the Tarpon Turtle.  We stopped
here for something cold to drink.  We also stopped by
Molly Goodheads which was a very eclectic bar.

This was my birthday present.  Bill spotted him first.  The flower was a bonus!

Travels with Dad & Mary

Spending time with my Dad & Mary

You know how much I love old cars, so off we went to Muscle Car City.  It is for people who love to look at beautiful old cars.  No fancy displays just cool shiny cars.

Me being creative.

I just really liked this shot.

This was an old town with a lot of history.
