We had one last camp out for the season with our group.  These people are so much fun to be with.  Can't wait to see the in June 2017!!

Ian, the oldest grandson, celebrated his 5th birthday in Michigan.  Aunt Liz planned one heck of a party.

It was a busy trip to Michigan this year.  

See you all next June.

August 6, 2016 Fun with Family

My Uncle Bob and Linda hosted a day full of fun,Family & Food.  What a great way to spend the day.

After the cookout we headed back to Durand to catch my cousin Mike's band, Group Therapy.

And this one was taken of our food find with Kaye and Chuck.  They took us to the Clio Road House for this little beauty.

We have one more event at Holiday Shores with our camping group then we are off to Elkhart, IN to have a new table put in our coach and then the next adventure begins.

A Side Trip

We left Durand for a few days and went to visit Mark, Angie and the puppies.  They have a secluded piece of property near Alpena.  We had a great time visiting around the fire.

We also stopped by East Tawas to visit with Donny and Gary and meet Terrie.  Donny took us on a boat ride out to the crib and around the lake.

This lovely building is called the crib.  National gypsum would all buckets of material over the lake to this plant for loading onto the ships.

To end the day we were treated to this beautiful sunset and a host of shooting stars.

Next stop, the family get together.
