Our Trip to Michigan from Arizona

I did not realize how long it had been since I updated the blog.

We took the RV in to get the electric hot water heater fixed. It was supposed to be two day event that turned into a four night mess.

We had a great trip home and arrived before our grandson's christening.

Our first night was spent at the Cactus RV Park

This place was easy to get to and the owners were really nice. It's not a fancy place just nice and there is a lot of history in the old hotel.

Our next stay was at the Amarillo RV Ranch.  This campground was another one we would visit again.  Even though I had made dinner in the crock pot we couldn't resist a trip to the Big Texan for dinner.  They pick you up and take you to the restaurant.  The food and service were great!

                         This is the 72oz. steak/roast

And this is where you set to eat it!

We stayed at an Army Corps park called Heyburn Lake.  This was our first Army Corps park and it was beautiful.

It was a beautiful trip home.  We are now at Holiday Shores in Durnad and looking forward to getting in a few hands of cards with the Blue Water RV'ers.

Hope everyone is warm and dry!

The Last Day at the Grand Canyon South Rim

We paid to take a south rim tour and it was fantastic.  We went with a company called Marvelous Marv.  He came highly recomended by two people that we worked with.  He took a lot of pictures of us and he has so much information.  It was a great day!!

Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Grand Canyon South Rim

We spent three chilly beautiful days at the south rim of the Grand Canyon.  I will try to limit the photos.  I hope you enjoy the ones I post.

These are pictures from our first day there.  It was very cloudy so the colors are not the best but the shadow from the clouds was beautiful.

These are the pictures from our second day.  My wonderful husband got up before sun rise to go to the park with me.  Yes this is one more thing off my bucket list.

Then we headed to Dessert View on the east side of the canyon.

Then came the sunset.

there are those that you see with your heart"
