July 27 to September 2, 2018 Our time in Michigan

It's hard to believe our time in Durand is coming to a close.
We have six days left before we leave Holiday Shores.
I thought I would throw out a few pictures of the things we have
done while we were here.

On July 27th Holiday Shores held a golf outing.
The rain held off and I had a blast taking pictures.

We got to attend a hot dog cook out at the Holiday House.  It's always better
when someone else cooks

And this visitor was very photogenic.
I took these on the pond behind our rig.

I went down to the courts and took pictures
of the bocce ball teams.  This group is so much fun.

We took Ella to the Detroit Zoo.
It has been a couple of years since our
last visit.  We had a blast.

These are a few of the lovely ladies I grew up with.
We got together for a weekend in Ludington.
Cheryll & Tom brought their boat over and took
us out for a sunset cruise.  It was a great weekend.

So glad they decided to celebrate my cousins
50th birthday early.  She did not suspect a thing.
Happy Birthday Kaye

I went to Texas and got in time to photograph
the parking lot party.

Making great friends is what makes our life so special.
Diane & Mike are part of our camping group and they
celebrated 50 years of marriage.  Love these two!!

I love a full moon!!

This is the second year we have taken Ella
to the Renaissance Festival.  Henna is
always on the todo list

Holiday Shores is getting good at the
parking lot parties.  Good weather, food and music.

There are still a couple events on the calendar before we leave but I
needed to get caught up.

July 9-15, 2018 Holiday Shores Durand, MI

Our FMCA camping group had their rally at Holiday Shores in Durand.
The hosts decided on a 50's theme and the mood was set.

Jan and Wally fed us well on Thursday night.  They wanted to be sure we had plenty of energy for all of the planned games.

Friday night 38 of us went out for dinner at the Wrought Iron Grill.
The staff did a fantastic job and we all walked away ready for a nap.
Mike doing his official duty.
This guy puts out one heck of a news letter

Diane bought the pink cadalac for memory photos.
We sure have a good looking group
