December 2020

Bill, Dad and I celebrated my birthday at the True Blue Winery.
We found this winery last year and loved it.

This is their beautiful mascot kitty.  He is very friendly especially if you have food.

I had one of their famous Cuban sandwiches and clam chowder.
They were perfect.

I also got a birthday song from Tom and Chrisy.
It was a nice surprise.

We have taken a few rides on the boat.  I just need to learn to park this thing.

We were lucky to spot some wild life on lake lowery.

Then it was time for Christmas lights in Florida

This is a Christmas TP Tree

We spent our Christmas in Texas with the family.  The grandkids are growing up fast and we really had fun with them.

And we took a drive around the race track and then a look at more Christmas lights.  It was a great set up.

Bill Update:
We met with the genetic specialist and learned that the cancer was not caused by an inherited gene but due to age or environment. I really hoped to learn more about the genetics of the cancer. His weight continues to decrease as does his energy level.  He is still eating as well as he can and continues to have no pain or nausea.  He still has enough energy to get in and out of the pontoon boat and he was able to walk through Orlando airport on our way to Texas.  Bill is looking forward to the RV show in Tampa.
We are blessed to still have positive things on our list.
Thank you for all the prayers.  They mean a lot to both of us.

November 2020 in Florida

This was our fast trip to the Magic Kingdom.
I wanted to get a picture of and taste MY cake.
This is the Constance's For Better or Worse Cake.
It was amazing!
Thanks to WDW News Today for the photo.

Our park has a doggy play area.
I got to spend some time with Bowdi.

I was watching @TheTimTracker and they had a great video review
for Wine Bar George.  I am glad to say their review was accurate.

We hit the charcuterie before I got a photo.

We had the skirt steak for two. It was as perfect as it looks.
The grilled asparagus were perfectly cooked.

Then we took a short walk to Amorette's Patisserie where we shared
this Black Forest dream in a cup.

We have seen some wildlife out our front window.
This one happened to be a camera ham.

My dad bought a pontoon boat before he came to Michigan.
This is the cleaned up version.

Athena and her family drove to Florida for Thanksgiving.
We had lots of boat trips and Ember got to use the camera.
She is very serious about fishing.

Athena, Ember and I spent a day in the Magic Kingdom.

I laughed so hard while she drove.

She had to ride the carousal

Helping grandma make deviled eggs.

Before they left Ember got her hair trimmed.
She had so much baby hair.
It was great to have them here.
I finished off the month with some sunrise and
sunset photos.  The last one on the right is my hand at Photoshop.

Bill Update:

We met with the oncologist and his platelets are not bouncing back.  He had a bone and marrow biopsy done and everything looks fine.  He has not had chemo since Michigan and he has lost 3 pounds in a month.  She said there would probably be no more chemo and she ordered another CT scan.  He has genetic counseling on the 17th.  I am not sure what to expect.  He still has an apatite and we are grateful for that.
