I hope you enjoy the photos.
Before we left we had a wonderful visit with Andrea, Brian and Ian.
I am not sure why this was done?
Next stop Louisville, Kentucky and the Louisville Slugger Museum. I love the history here and the tour was fantastic.
See the reflection of the bat on the building below?
We moved farther south to Gulf Shores, Alabama and seen the USS Alabama. This ship was huge. We also toured the USS Drumm. I don't think I would last too long on a sub.
This is a state park that we stopped to check out.
We stayed at Gulf State Park while we were in Alabama. This park was beautiful. We took a ride on the Backcountry bike trail. What started out to be a four mile ride turned into six miles. This is a well kept trail and should not be missed if you are in the area. Just be sure to read the map before you start out.
The baby gators were on display at the nature building at our campground.
We also stopped by the Pensacola Naval Aviation Museum. I have pictures of my dad by Pappy Boyington's plane. We used to watch Black Sheep Squadron when I was little.
Above is a picture of the Marine Corp
preparing to celebrate the birth of the
Corp.
Now for some sights around Gulf Shores. This place was beautiful.
Our last stop on this adventure was Econfina State Park. They see a lot of wild animals around here, but we were not that lucky.
