March 21 - 26, 2015 San Diego

We found Fiddlers Cove last year.  We pulled in to park and learned we needed a reservation.  This year we made a reservation early and I am so glad we did.
Fiddlers  cove is on the water and we had a view of the military ships that were docked. It was a great time to get out the 500mm.  This is what I got.

I tried adding video of the helicopter lift and drop but I was not successful.  I need to learn how to do that.

Make sure you check out the blog for the San Diego Zoo!

March 15, 2015 Jerome, AZ

We always try to make it up to the town of Jerome.  It is the Key West of the West with a side of old mining town mixed in.

San Francisco Peaks
Jerome is a town of artists.

Still love the wrought iron of Jerome

Looking up at the Asylum in the Grand Hotel

With so much blasting going on under the town buildings became unstable.  The jail was one of those buildings.

We always love Arizona.  We have got to visit with lots of friends since we arrived, but now it's time to continue the adventure.
Next stop is Quartzsite to visit more friends then off to San Diego, CA.

March 3-19, 2015 Congress & Wickenburg, AZ

We spent some time in the big town of Congress, AZ.  For a small town they sure have a great pizza joint and beautiful sun sets.

Where we stayed
These are just some random views of the campground

The nearby town of Wickenburg, AZ has a great cowboy history that lives on today.
