San Antonio

Our day started at the Alamo. 

We took a trolley to the Market Place.  There were so many shops to walk through and food to eat!

 

 

 

Here are some random San Antonio street sights.

 

 

 

 

We took a half an hour and toured the Menger Bar where Teddy Roosevelt

signed up the Rough Riders.  The hotel is set up like a museum. 



 

 

 

 

 



The River Walk was beautiful during the day and

even more special at night.  

 

 

 

 

I have to tell you about the campground we stayed at.  It is called Hidden Valley RV Park. We are used to seeing lush campgrounds but out west it is just the opposite.  But the people are wonderful and they have friendly puppies.

It looks like we got out of New Orleans before the snow fell.  It is still chilly on this side of Texas. 

Our next stop is Carlsbad to see the caverns!
