We did the tourist thing and went to Disney World. The crowd was minimal and the weather was great. We stayed at the Swan and the bed was so comfy, the staff was great and the food was wonderful.
We walked about 8 miles and slept great.
Our first stop for food was the Garden Grove at the Swan.
The chicken soup was wonderful.
Bill had the lobster roll and I had the shrimp tacos.
We had a wonderful dinner at Chef Art Smith's Homecomin in Disney Springs
Our last Disney dinner was at Kimonos. Bill had a beverage
made with brown sugar bourbon.
It had a heavy sweet caramel taste and I had a lychee martini.
For dinner Bill had and egg drop soup and I had udon noodle soup and we both had
egg rolls. It was a very nice restaurant.
We spent a whole day between Hollywood Studios and Epcot for the Food and Wine Festival.
We only had a couple of samples at Epcot but we plan to go back for more.
I did't get a picture of the lamb chop but it was wonderful.
I did get a few selfies of us.
Toy Story Land was pretty interesting to look at but seemed a little small.
It was fun to watch the little kids on the roller coaster.
We did ride the Skyliner. These were amazing. The lines were short
and transfers were easy.
We got to see some characters at Epcot and The Magic Kingdom.
I would love to retake this at night with everything lit up.
So we were heading out and seen these on the ground.
We found the girl painting Goofy with water in a dustpan and a broom with the ends tied together like a big paint brush.
I spied a couple of the new buses
One day at Disney complete. We will return on the 21st!
