Christmas 2015

We made it to Texas for Christmas.

We arrived at Berry Springs RV Park in Georgetown, TX on December 22nd.  The people here are great and the price is right.  We have the spot booked for one month.  I will fly back to Florida when my mom is able to come home.

So here are the pictures you have been waiting for.
This is Andrea, Brian and the grandsons on Christmas Eve.  Ian is 4 and Neil is almost 3.

Andrea getting something comfy for Christmas
Ian getting to work

Then off to Athena and Nate's Christmas day. Ember, who is 16 months, enjoyed the wrapping paper.
And her bagel

And her mommy

And her daddy

And the gifts.  She loved the gifts

Today is December 26th.  We had some running to do this morning.
Now we are enjoying our 18th year anniversary buy watching some football and maybe going to dinner later if the rain isn't too bad.

December 18-19, 2015 Gulf Shores, AL

As of December 18th we are on the road again!!
We talked with mom's caseworker and he said she was in good shape and needed to concentrate on her rehab and rest.
I call her every night to see how she is doing and as of the 18th and able to go workout in the gym.
She told me that her Dr's said she could come home by the 26th if I was there, but when I spoke with the caseworker he said she still required two people to move her.
Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.  I know she is ready to come home.

Gulf shores is one of your favorite stops.  We love staying at Gulf State Park but their prices have really shot up and the campers say it is a resort fee that has been added.  They want to build a conference center across the inlet.

So if you ever wondered how RVers decorate for Christmas, here ya go!!

And then there is the artsy stuff.
Yes these are on purpose.

While we were in Gulf Shores we found an off the chart great sea food shop
in Pensacola, FL.
Joe Patti's World Famous Seafood was a destination all by itself.
We also had a meal at their deli.  The seafood gumbo was wonderful and the baskets were not greasy or over cooked!!

These are some random pictures I took with the cell phone.
Today we are in Beaumont, TX and tomorrow we arrive in Georgetown, TX.  We will be close to the kids and we can't wait to see them.

Merry Christmas to all of you and thank you so much for checking in on us.  We hope to cross paths with more of you this year. Please stay in touch.

Lots of love,
Connie & Bill
