March 12-27, 2018

We lived through the battery inverter mess in Tuscon.  The result was six dead house batteries and two inverters that could not support the 100% power pull into both inverters at the same time.  The teck to me it was like trying to get to big dogs through the same little doggy door.  He backed the power down to 50% pull in each inverter and everyone was happy.

The silver lining to the story is while we were in Tuscon we got to visit with Donny and Terri.  The visit was way to short and we can't wait to catch up with them this summer in Michigan.

On March 14th I got on a plane and flew to Austin to visit with the kids while Bill attended a chef's conference.  He had a great time cheering the Mott Bears Culinary Knowledge Bowl team to a Gold Metal.  I had a ball with the grand kids.

I had so much fun with the boys at the rodeo

 And the grandpuppy

We were able to enjoy Seal Beach, CA

We are currently at an Elk's Campground in Merced, CA.

Tomorrow we head for Loomis and the Bird-Kellogg Easter celebration.

March 1, 2018

After leaving Fiddlers Cove we headed to Borrego Springs, CA and the Blu In RV Park to see Roy, Rondi and Kappy.  As luck would have it the winds kicked up as we arrived.  We did get lucky and the winds died down so we could check out the awesome desert art and antique trailers.

We were in the land of the
ATV's.  I just thought this was a cool shot.

From the Blu in RV Park we traveled to the Desert Springs RV Park in Casa Grande, AZ.
We stopped there to visit with Domingo and Carmen.  There are no pictures because
Bill and I were down with allergies so we slept most of the time.

Currently we are setting in the KOA in La Mesa, AZ.
All the batteries have been replaced but the inverter that powers the
refrigerator when you are rolling down the road or dry camping is not working.
Of course when you are plugged into power or on generator it works great.
The drama of RV life.......
On the bright side of being here, we will get to see Bill's cousin Don and Terri.
