We arrived at the Traverse City State Park on Thursday. We had rain off and on during our trip up. Upon arrival we drove the RV to our site and realized that there was NO WAY we could maneuver into it. We were given six other sites to check out and there was one we could fit into. After set up we had a few visitors who couldn't believe that a woman was driving the rig through the narrow park roads. I have a GREAT partner.
Friday we went to the Great Lakes Culinary Institute for lunch. The food was GREAT! I think we will travel the USA and eat at culinary schools.
We went into town and found a shop that sells flavored olive oil and balsamic vinegars (
http://www.fustinis.com/) I had to buy something here. After tasting a couple vinegars I chose a ginger & honey balsamic.
Saturday was the wedding. It was beautiful! I love to go to ceremonies where the pastor knows the couple.
Today we are off to the art fair and tomorrow we are heading to Bay Harbor.
