March 18-19, 2017 Family in AZ

I picked up Kaye and Chuck at the airport on dropped Bill off.  Bill was heading to Michigan and cold while Kaye and Chuck were here to enjoy the Arizona sunshine.

We started off the AZ experience with a trip to Carefree and a trip to Big Earls for a yummy burger and adult milk shake.

We got up early for a little 13 hour road trip to Sedona.  We took a suggestion to get off the expressway and take the back road.  I had a blast driving the switchbacks.  We were so close to the mountains you could reach out the car window and almost touch them.

This is the view from a rest area.

There was room for about six cars at the pull off.
I almost missed it.

This was a small part of a wall mural in a town outside
of Sedona.

Every stop was beautiful.

One of the many small homes
we seen.

 Sunset from Meteor Crater.
We arrived after they closed but we took advantage
of the view.

Our last stop was Winslow, AZ.  It was a stop
on my cousins bucket list.  So at 7 pm we
pulled into Winslow.

We made it home safe and sound.
Thanks to my cousin for letting me
use some of her pictures.
The next stop, The Grand Canyon!!
