Dad has taken us to the home of "The Worlds Best Ice Cream", Mayfield Dairy , TWICE!!

My dad, Bill and Mary wait for their ice cream at the window.

The Redneck Olympics

This is what we came to Tenesee for, the redneck olympics. We stay at Pete and Sandee's house, they organize the event.  Jackie and Larry also come in from out of town to help with the event.  We will all head to the Habitat build together.
There are not a lot of pictures because it rained all day and I didn't want to get the camera wet.

This is the Pig Feet Bob and yes it is as bad as it sounds.  We boiled the feet and there was still hair
on them.

He had this one and dropped it back in the water.

Now on to the hub cap toss, the toilet seat toss and the redneck beauity pagent.
Some of your may remember the girl on the right.  That is Leeann from the Freedom Center in Fenton.  We are staying about ten minutes from her and her huband.

Sight Seeing

My dad and step mom have taken us to see some wonderful sights.

Our first stop was Bald River Falls.  I can only imagion how beautiful it is in the fall.

This was taken from the top of the fall.                                This was taken from the top of the fall looking down at Bill
This was looking over the other side of the bridge.

And this is the fall.

 Cades Cove

Here we are at Cades Cove.  It has been a beautiful trip.
These pictures are from a two track dirt road going out of the cove.  We seen a total of four cars and two were parked for the night.  There were a lot of steep hills to climb and streams to cross.  These pictures are from one part of this road.  It was an adventure.

And this was the most beautiful picutre.
Sunset on the Smokey Mountians

On my next blog I will include pictures from Cumberland Gap.

We leave here tomorrow for the Habitat Build in South Carolina.

Untill then keep it between the lines.
