April 3-9, 2017 From Surprise, AZ to Las Vegas, NV

We left Surprise, AZ on April 4th and headed for Las Vegas, NV.
The flowers were just starting to bloom and I was able to get some pictures
before we left.

Heading for Las Vegas,  we spent the night in Laughlin, NV then off to Las Vegas.

We arrived at Camp Bird on the 5th.  The welcome team here is first class all the way.

Flo & Bob took us on an adventure around Las Vegas.  We seen some fantastic sights.

Our first adventure was to the Neon Museum.
This is where all the old signs are stored.   Check out the
link to see what it looks like at night.

The letters are from the old Moulin Rouge.

The sign was made form Liberace's actual signature

Broken signs

We also went to the Mob Museum.
They did a great job showing the mob past and present.

We did make it to the strip.
Our hosts took us to the Bellagio.
This was our first time at a dim sum.
We loved everything we tasted.  Glad Flo
new what to order.

Our next stop was the Conservatory & Botanical Gardens
It reminded me of the flower show at Epcot

 The best chocolate fountain ever.

The art exhibit was of Muhammad Ali.
They did a great job and had a lot of
great photos and momentous.

Our last stop was the Red Rock Canyon
This is the really beautiful side of Las Vegas.

 Climbers in action

The little balls on the trees are now known as
Pollen Bombs

Do you see the hand prints?

This little guy is the only wild life we seen.
See his little eyes?

On April 10th we hit the road again bound for
Loomis, CA.
We are following Bob & Flo.  They got
a new coach.
